3rd Annual Guilderland Youth Football Clinic
 February 26, 2006>> The Guilderland High School Football Coaches, Varsity Players, GPW Coaches and over 50 youth football players met for the 3rd annual Guilderland Youth Football Clinic held at Guilderland High School. The clinic offers young football players a chance to learn the fundamentals of football from not only current GHS Varsity players but also from the GHS Coaching Staff. This event marks just another example of the strong relationship between Dutchmen Football and  Guilderland Youth organizations such as Guilderland Pop Warner. 
Guilderland Pop Warner Scholarship 2006
The Guilderland Pop Warner Football Association, Inc., is pleased to make available scholarships for graduating high school seniors to support the next steps in their career. It is the intent of the Guilderland Pop Warner Football Association to award two such scholarships, each in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500), one for an alumnus of the Guilderland Pop Warner football program and one for an alumnus of the spirit program who in their scholastic careers have embodied the principles of Pop Warner. The Association reserves the right to modify the number and amount of these awards as the Association in its judgment may deem appropriate based on the applications which have been submitted or other appropriate factors.  Scholarship award criteria will include, but not be limited to, academic achievement, scholastic and extracurricular involvement, athletics, community service and character. Eligible applicants interested in applying for this scholarship should obtain, complete and return an application to the high school guidance office by Wednesday, April 26, 2006.  The Guilderland Pop Warner Board of Directors will thoroughly review each application.  Applicants may be required to participate in an interview with the Board of Directors.  Awards will be presented during students’ high school award ceremonies.
