Defensive
Battle Till The End
The Dutchmen in their
first playoff game since 1999 lost to CBA 13-8.
The first quarter found both teams not able to move the ball
due to hard hitting and quick reacting defenses. In the 2nd
quarter CBA's Michael Chaire had a 50yard run to break
the scoreless tie. The Dutchmen responded with a
Andrew Smith 20yrd pass from Gregory Barcomb and Kevin
Forbes ran in the two point conversion. CBA
capitalized on a Dutchmen turnover early in the 3rd
quarter to take the lead on a Luke Weaver 14yrd pass from

Coach
Penna After CBA Game
"When I look at this season in retrospect I
will be very proud of the kids," Penna said. "I'm
proud of them right now. They left everything out on the
field. The tone of the kids in this program is that we are
just getting started. The seniors brought us on a path we
had never been down before and the juniors are hungry to
keep pushing forward." [Full
