FMS Ends Season Unbeaten

In the closest game of the season, the FMS football team slugged it out with Shenendahowa and beat the Plainsmen 29-16 in Clifton Park.  Brad Johnson saved his best for last with two huge TD runs of 65 yards each.  Mekiah Henningham ran hard all game and collected a touchdown of his own while Joey Cornel ran around a defensive end into the endzone capping the Dutchmen scorring.  The offensive line blocked well all game and quarterbacks Frank Gallo and Andrew Sentz led the team on several scorring drives.  On defense, Marcus Knodler recoverd a forced fumble by Max Chamblis on the Dutchmen 6 yardline which eventually led to one of Johnson's huge TDs.  Matt Cerrutti, Zach Formica, Nick LePore, Alec Cardinal, Ryker Bodo and Dylan Whitfield all had their hands full with Shen's powerful offense.  The D held the Plainsmen on several potential scorring drives.  It was the closest game of the season for the young Dutchmen who went on to post a season record of 7 wins and 0 losses.  The team would like to thank all of the parents who supported us throughout the season. 

 

FMS Remains Unbeaten
Against it's toughest opponent yet, FMS Football team traveled to Bethlehem and beat the Eagles by a score of 38-18.  Scoring touchdowns for FMS were Michiah Henningham, Joe Cornell, Frank Gallo, and Brad Johnson.  The offensive line provided many opportunities for FMS and was led by Marcus Knodler, Zach Fomica, Arbri Lule, Dylan Whitfield, Brandon Rathwell, Julian Christiano, Matt Cerutti, Jeremy Carr, Max Chamblis, Mike Lia, Kyle Flannery, Jack Marcucci and Ben Govel.  On defense, Marcus Knodler, Max Chamblis, Michiah Henningham, Joe Cornell, Brad Johnson, Zach Formica, Matt Cerutti, Ryker Bodo, Brandon Rathwell, Jake Smith and Nick LePore all had outstanding games.  The final score was not indicative of how close the game was.  Each team scorred back and forth throughout the afternoon. Ball control let the Dutchmen put the game away in the 5th quarter.  Frank Gallo quarterbacked his team down the field for the final FMS score.  The team is now 6 and 0 with their last game at Shen this Saturday
FMS Hands Columbia First Lose
The modified football team beat undefeated Columbia on Saturday by a score of 36-6.  Micaiah Henningham, Brad Johnson and Joe Cornell scored touchdowns for the young Dutch.  Having outstanding defensive games were Marcus Knodler, Matt Cerutti, Zach Formica, Alec Cardinal, Dylan Whitfield, Jake Smith, Andrew Sentz,  Nick LePore and Nick Bord.  The defense recorded two interceptions by Micaiah Henningham, one in which was returned for a TD
Modified Football Defeats LaSalle
  The F.M.S. modified football team defeated LaSalle Friday by a score
of 42-0.   The modified improved their record to 4-0 on the season. In
four games the "Mod Squad" has scored 154 points while give up only 12.
Their next game is Saturday morning at Columbia.
